Medical and entry level jobs are available in Juneau at Ethel Lund Medical Center and the new Mountainside Urgent Care.

In our effort to increase access to healthcare services for all Juneau residents and visitors, our team at SEARHC is eager to hire additional qualified and mid-qualified medical assistants (MAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and patient access representatives (PARs). New hirees can earn up to $5,000 for joining our team depending on their medical certifications and qualifications.

If you don’t have medical experience or expertise, don’t worry, SEARHC can provide the training you need. Our entry level jobs require a high school diploma and compassion for others. No other experience is necessary and on-the-job training will be provided.

Hiring bonus breakdown

SEARHC offers $5,000 signing bonuses to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with the following qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited LPN training program
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Alaska

SEARHC offers $4,000 signing bonuses to Certified Medical Assistants (MAs) with the following qualifications:

• Active National Medical Assisting certification

SEARHC offers $3,000 signing bonuses to Medical Assistants (MAs)with the following qualifications:

• EMT III Current Alaska Certification or
• Current Alaska Paramedic Certification or
• 2 years of Medical Assisting experience
• Current Basic Life Safety certification

SEARHC will offer $2,500 signing bonuses to Patient Access Representatives with the following qualifications:

• Two years experience in a medical office setting or
• 1 year of medical office plus healthcare-related coursework
