Education

Dr. Marna Schwartz received her bachelor’s degree from Williams College and completed her post-baccalaureate premedical certificate at Bryn Mawr College before attending Harvard Medical School. Dr. Schwartz completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington. With over two decades of experience caring for children, Dr. Schwartz’s tenure includes serving as a primary care pediatrician in Juneau for eight years with an additional three years as a traveling pediatrician for SEARHC. Dr. Schwartz enjoys building long-term relationships with her pediatric patients and their families, as well as offering compassionate care tailored to each child’s unique needs. She specializes in working with children who have developmental disabilities, psychiatric and behavioral challenges, and those navigating complex social situations.

Personal Interests

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, swimming (especially outdoors), hiking, skiing, cooking, gardening, knitting and collecting antique china.
