Dr. Hansen received her doctorate in Occupational therapy from Creighton University and an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Saint Joseph’s University. She was a fellow in the UAA LEND program, and the REACH Infant Learning Program, working together with children ages birth to three and their families in Juneau and surrounding communities of Southeast Alaska. Her special interest areas include sensory processing, picky eaters, and Autism, and she enjoys working in relationship with patient’s and their caregivers to engage in activities that bring joy to their everyday life.
Dr. Hansen’s previous experience includes home health services through CCS’s Hospice and Homecare, pediatric therapy at Norton Sound Health Corporation as well as a private practice outpatient pediatric clinic working with children from birth to age 18.
