Education

Mindona Billings, FNP, completed her associate’s degree in nursing at Salish Kootenai Tribal College and earned her master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University. Joining SEARHC in July 2024, Mindona brings more than 11 years of experience as an advanced practice nurse. She possesses a wide range of experience, including women’s health, obstetrics, family medicine and urgent care. Mindona is particularly skilled in birth control procedures such as IUD placements and birth control implants.
Mindona was drawn to SEARHC by the opportunity to achieve a better work-family balance and to continue serving Alaska Native communities, transitioning from her previous role at a Tribal clinic.

Outside of her professional life, Mindona enjoys all things outdoors—hiking, biking and water activities—and values spending time with her family and growing in her faith.
