WMC is a Critical Access Hospital and Long-Term Care Facility. WMC provides essential services, including Emergency Services , Acute Care , Transitional Care , Primary Care , Long-Term Care , and ancillary hospital and outpatient services.
The Emergency Department at WMC is a Level IV Trauma Center staffed 24/7 by board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses who specialize in care for patients with serious illnesses and injuries. WMC will provide emergency medical screening and stabilization to all individuals in accordance with the Emergency Medical Services/Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act Policy (EMTALA).
