Addiction and Recovery Services at SEARHC

Establishing and maintaining recovery involves community and a network of support – a team. And that includes you. When you are a client, you are part of the team. Each client receives a customized treatment plan that supports their personal journey toward recovery.
We provide a comprehensive model of addiction healthcare, utilizing traditional and modern treatment options to fit the needs of every Southeast Alaskan. Qualified addiction professionals provide a clinical assessment to evaluate need and develop a personalized treatment plan. Utilizing an innovative blend of in-person and virtual options, SEARHC Comprehensive Addiction Services are available daily throughout the region.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment
The SEARHC Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) provides daily access to individual, group and family services, comprehensive addiction services and support services to meet each individual’s needs.
Services include:
- individual work with a counselor
- group services with others experiencing similar challenges
- working to strengthen recovery support, such as family, kinship and community relationships
Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, addiction treatment allows Southeast Alaskans to receive lifesaving care while remaining in their home and ancestral communities.
Virtual Services
Our virtual treatment services provide accessible, confidential care for individuals seeking support for mental health and substance use challenges. Through secure video sessions, clients can connect with licensed clinicians and recovery specialists from the comfort of home – ensuring continuity of care, flexibility and personalized treatment plans that fit their lives.
Services include:
- one-on-one counseling sessions
- recovery support services such as case management and psychoeducation, to provide supportive and effective virtual treatment for addiction challenges
