Education and Experience
Dr. Sara Vasudeva is a compassionate and highly skilled psychiatrist specializing in consultation-liaison psychiatry and medical psychiatry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami and her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Vasudeva completed her residency in the prestigious Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program, training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident for the Inpatient Consult-Liaison Psychiatry service at Brigham & Women’s Hospital from 2019 to 2020. Following her residency, she pursued a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, completing it in 2021.
After her fellowship, Dr. Vasudeva worked as an inpatient consult-liaison psychiatrist at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, with a focus on emergency psychiatry. She brings years of expertise in medical psychiatry, women’s mental health, collaborative care and emergency psychiatry to SEARHC.
Dr. Vasudeva is driven by her belief in a holistic approach to patient care, appreciating the individual narratives unique to each patient. She is passionate about the intersection of physical and mental health and its impact on overall well-being.
She is inspired by SEARHC’s mission-driven, community-oriented approach and is excited to contribute to the organization’s goals of improving mental health care in underserved populations.
Personal Interests
Dr. Vasudeva calls Seattle home and enjoys the beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery and nature. In her free time, she practices yoga, travels both domestically and internationally, paints and explores new foods and cuisines.
