Education and Experience
Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
He practiced physical therapy throughout Alaska for 25 years, in Ketchikan, Prince of Wales, Sitka, and Kodiak. Bill’s primary focus is Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Manual Therapy, and the Spine.
When asked about joining SEARHC, Bill said he is “excited about the opportunity to work as part of the healthcare team as well as provide physical therapy and administrative guidance for rehabilitation departments throughout the Consortium.”
Personal Interests
Professionally Bill enjoys providing services to competitive athletes in all sports and for all ages. He is especially excited about his work as a physical therapist with USA Taekwondo, the National Governing Body for the US Olympics and Paralympics.
Outside of work, Bill is an avid outdoorsman, sailor, diver, martial artist with a 5th degree black belt in taekwondo and Master SCUBA Diver Trainer. He holds a Masters Credential and sailing endorsement for 100 ton vessels. Bill lives in Sitka with his family that he loves. He believes we are all responsible for teaching others the things that have helped make this life special.
