Education and Experience
Sarah is a registered nurse with experience in case management through the Breast and Cervical Health Program. Her passion to care for others started in highschool when she was a volunteer transport tech at her local VA hospital in St.Louis, MO. During college she worked as nursing assistant at a rehab facility for stroke patients. Her nursing career officially began in 2011 when she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Banes-Jewish College in St.Louis, MO. In 2024 she completed her Masters of Public Health with a concentration in biosecurity and disaster preparedness from St.Louis University.
Sarah finds excitement in every aspect of nursing she has worked. She has had the opportunity to travel throughout the country as a nurse due to her husband’s job in the US Coast Guard. She has experience in surgery, medical-surgical, women’s health, family practice, PCU, ICU, and ED. She is as also an Air Force veteran and continues to serve as a reservist. She mentors cadets at the local Civil Air Patrol unit on her personal experience as a military flight nurse. She hopes her experience will welcome more people into the field of nursing.
Personal Interests
Sarah Becker enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter exploring their new home in Juneau. They love boating and fishing whenever possible.
