Carey Rose is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a strong commitment to providing care in underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Microbiology from the University of South Florida and a Master of Clinical Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University.
Carey has a diverse clinical background, having worked at Manatee County Rural Health Services in Florida, where she first served in Obstetrics & Gynecology and later transitioned to Family Medicine. Her areas of expertise include women’s health, infectious disease and public health. She is deeply passionate about making healthcare accessible to all people, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
Driven by her desire to serve in Alaska, Carey relocated to the state in August of 2023 to join SEARHC, where she can continue her work in a community-focused, patient-centered environment.
Personal Interests
Outside of her professional life, Carey enjoys reading, painting and watching movies. She values spending quality time with family and relishes the opportunity to explore the beauty of Alaska.
