Education and Experience
Dr. Scot Hines earned his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and completed his medical degree and internship at Marshall University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship at Indiana University Medical Center, specializing in clinical neurophysiology with advanced training in electroencephalography and electromyography. Dr. Hines provides comprehensive care for patients with non-surgical neurologic diseases and is proficient in most neurologic procedures, including electromyography, electroencephalography, botulinum toxin administration, and vagus nerve stimulation/responsive neurostimulation programming. He enjoys neurology because of the meaningful interaction with patients across multiple disciplines and the rapidly advancing changes in the field that make it easier to treat those with neurologic disease.
Dr. Hines serves as staff at Alaska Native Medical Center and is a clinical faculty member at the University of Washington.Personal Interests
Dr. Hines enjoys adventure hiking and backpacking, running, reading, and traveling.
