Cristina Alderfer is a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist providing specialized care at Vintage Park – Pediatric Physical Rehabilitation since January of 2024. Cristina’s commitment to empowering children and families, coupled with her expertise, makes her an invaluable asset to the community. Cristina completed her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Her focus lies in play-based early intervention, where she passionately supports functional social, expressive, and receptive language development, as well as articulation development for the pediatric population. Building on her commitment to sustaining relationships, Cristina strives to create a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Cristina’s approach to Speech-Language Pathology goes beyond the clinical setting. She is driven by a deep passion for supporting and empowering children, recognizing the crucial role language development plays in their overall well-being. Having been raised in Juneau, Cristina embraces the outdoor lifestyle that the region offers. She finds joy in activities such as hiking, fishing, camping and exploring the unique landscapes during low tides.
