Education
Dr. Essence Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in vision science from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She completed her Doctor of Optometry at Salus University and went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. Her clinical focus is ocular disease, and she is passionate about expanding access to high-quality care and improving health equity across communities.
Dr. Johnson is committed to serving patients with compassion and expertise, helping them navigate complex eye conditions such as diabetes-related complications, glaucoma, and acute eye injuries.
