Board Certified in General Psychiatry and in Geriatric Psychiatry

Dr. Bruce Weeks has been a resident of Juneau since 2005 and joined SEARHC the same year. He earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Weeks completed his psychiatry residency at Hartford Hospital in New York City in 2004, followed by a geriatric psychiatry fellowship in 2005, also in New York City.

For nearly two decades, Dr. Weeks has been dedicated to serving the Juneau community, providing compassionate and specialized psychiatric care. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Weeks has been an active member of a research team since 2021 and has co-authored several academic articles focusing on lifestyle medicine. His expertise and ongoing contributions to both patient care and research reflect his commitment to advancing the field of psychiatry.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Weeks enjoys contributing to research and exploring innovative approaches to mental health care.
