Jennie spent six years at Parkland Hospital in downtown Dallas, where she worked in Neonatal ICU/Transport, High-Risk Labor and Delivery, and the Psychiatric Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse (RN). In 2011, she moved to Southeast Alaska (Ketchikan) as a Travel RN and decided to make it her home.
For 12 years, Jennie was an integral part of PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center, serving in various roles such as a Certified Surgical RN in the Operating Room, High-Risk Labor/Delivery, and contributing to women and infants’ care. In her final two years, she was the sole provider for psychiatric and substance abuse treatment at Ketchikan Indian Community, where she found immense fulfillment in listening to and understanding each patient’s unique story.

She values the opportunity to learn about each individual’s background, aspirations and what is important to them.
