SEARHC clinics will be closed in observance of the Indigenous People’s Day, Monday, Oct. 14. Emergency services are available 24/7 and urgent care services will operate as usual. Regular operating hours will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Tapley, Jason

Education and Experience
Dr. Tapley received his Bachelor of Science – Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with High Honors. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, spending many years on the Dean’s list and graduating with Highest Distinction. Jason spent several years with Rite Aid Pharmacy in North Carolina before coming to SEARHC.
As an advocate for increasing the availability of healthcare services to patients, Jason testified at the Alaska State Senate in support of Senate Bill 71 that would allow pharmacists to administer vaccines and emergency medications independently. The bill was signed into law on May 15, 2015.
Personal Interests
Professionally, Jason is interested in finding new ways the pharmacy can provide beneficial services to the community. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, hiking, hockey, bicycling, and many other outdoor activities.
