Education and Experience
Kaela Hoyt graduated from Wichita State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences . In 2019, Kaela was selected by SEARHC to attend the Dental Health Aid Therapist program through the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) and Ilisagvik College, where she earned her associate’s degree in dental therapy in 2021.
Kaela provides routine exams, as well as preventative and restorative services for adolescent and teenage patients at the pediatric dental clinic. Her journey with SEARHC began in 2017, after working as a dental assistant in a private practice dental office. Kaela is passionate about her work and finds great joy in seeing the smiles on her young patients’ faces, knowing she is making a positive impact on their oral health.
Personal Interests
Outside of her professional life, Kaela loves spending time with her family and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, especially when the sun is shining. Her enthusiasm for both family and nature complements her dedicated approach to pediatric dental care.
