Education and Experience
Brent Dreier, FNP-C, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at SEARHC. He earned his Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from the State College of Florida in 2001 and completed his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) focus from Walden University in 2023.
Before advancing his education, Brent worked as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, where he gained extensive experience in acute and emergency care. His passion for direct patient care and educating patients about their health and treatment plans led him to pursue a career in Family Medicine, where he could build deeper connections and provide comprehensive care.
Brent’s journey to SEARHC was inspired by his long-time friend and now colleague, Todd Galuszka, FNP, who encouraged him to pursue advanced training and join the SEARHC team. Brent is excited to serve the community of Kake, contributing his skills and dedication to the health and well-being of Southeast Alaska residents.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Brent enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 25 years, hiking, hunting, walking their dog, Reba, and staying active through exercise.
