Education and Experience
Abbey Cummings provides urgent care services with clinical experience in rural health and family practice. She earned her undergraduate degree from Luther College and completed the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse/Mayo Clinic/Gundersen Lutheran Physician Assistant graduate program. Abbey is passionate about providing timely, respectful care for patients with minor but important medical needs. She prioritizes ensuring every patient feels heard and supported while addressing issues early to help prevent them from becoming more serious. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, and urgent care offers an ideal environment for her broad knowledge base and commitment to patient-centered care. By treating basic concerns in an urgent care setting, she helps reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, improving efficiency and reducing frustration for patients and families.
Personal Interests
Abbey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons, including boating, camping, fishing and hunting. Her family also loves playing games and cooking together. She likes swimming year-round in both indoor and outdoor settings with her boys and friends. She often meets friends for trail running and cross-country skiing and hopes to get her sons involved in those activities as well. At home, she enjoys gardening, reading and working on jigsaw puzzles.
