Heart Matters

SEARHC is inviting you to participate in our heart health program, Heart Matters! For all of February, National Heart Health Month, participants will be assisted with a personal health goal related to reducing their risk for heart disease. This free, all-ages and inclusive program starts February 1 and runs through February 28. All Southeast Alaskans are encouraged to join us to learn how to turn health goals into heart healthy habits!
HOW IT WORKS
The program starts on February 1. Every week you’ll make a personal health goal based on your overall heart healthy habit you’re trying to achieve. Each Wednesday you’ll receive an email from our team with instructions to submit your goal completion rate. Each time you submit you’ll be entered into the weekly prize drawing! We’ve got a great lineup of prizes and if you stay on track to finish off the month, the better your chances are to win big! If you log all four weeks, you’ll be entered into a grand prize drawing.
STEPS TO PARTICIPATE
- REGISTER for the program.
- DOWNLOAD the paper tracker OR use your own way of tracking the completion of your daily goals (the paper trackers do not need to be submitted, this is just a resource for you to track your goals).
- ON FEBRUARY 1 – START TRACKING
