Education
Kay Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with Honors from Oregon State University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University. Prior to her current role, Kay served in various capacities at the Sitka Community Hospital. Her roles included Physical Therapist, Outpatient Services Director and LTC Administrator. In 2019, she joined SEARHC as the LTC Administrator, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of residents every day.
Kay is driven by a collective goal for her team: to make the lives of residents better with each passing day. Her unwavering dedication to this goal has led to remarkable achievements, including elevating SEARHC’s CMS star rating to the highest-rated 5-star facilities. Kay takes great pride in her team’s accomplishments and remains committed to providing the highest quality care possible.
