Education

Dr. Theodore Wright provides care in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in Russian from the University of Alaska Anchorage and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Wright is passionate about serving his community and brings expertise in managing complex medical conditions and infectious diseases. Dr. Wright’s commitment to medicine is deeply rooted in his personal experience. His family is from Sitka, and he is part Tlingit. Growing up in Sitka, including several years living at Sheldon Jackson College, and later moving to Anchorage for high school, he experienced firsthand the importance of access to quality healthcare. As an Indian Health Service beneficiary, he received excellent care through SEARHC and Southcentral Foundation, which inspired him to pursue medicine after discovering a love for biology in college.
