April completed her undergraduate studies at California Lutheran University in California. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree through the Chapman University.
Before coming to SEARHC, she worked for the County of San Diego with California Children’s Services for 10 year, where she served children aged birth to 21 years old with neurological and neuromuscular conditions including, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, spinal cord injuries, limb amputations, muscular dystrophy, and various progressive neurological conditions. April feels that the most rewarding aspect of her job is seeing clients improve and giving them the tools they need to maintain their gains so they can participate in everyday life with the most function.
