Education

Dr. Annika Lavoie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington, and completed her family medicine residency at Alaska Family Medicine Residency in Anchorage. Her areas of expertise include wilderness medicine, addiction medicine, reproductive health, and LGBTQ+ care.

Certifications

Dr. Lavoie is board-certified in family medicine by the State of Alaska and the American Board of Family Medicine. She holds certifications in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Wilderness Life Support for Medical Professionals.
