Dr. David Trowbridge is a seasoned physician with a background in military, tribal and non-profit healthcare. With a Bachelor degree in biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Trowbridge has dedicated over 27 years to serving diverse patient populations across the United States.
Dr. Trowbridge’s professional journey began in 1996 when he joined the US Army as a physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. During his tenure, he provided expert care to military personnel, gaining invaluable experience in the management of complex cardiovascular conditions. His dedication and expertise led him to serve as a Flight Surgeon in the US Air Force, further honing his skills in aeromedical medicine.
In 2014, Dr. Trowbridge transitioned to the Alaska Native Medical Center, where he focused on cardiology, contributing to the health and well-being of Alaska Native communities. His commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes extended beyond military service, as evidenced by his work in tribal and nonprofit health systems.
In addition to providing services at SEARHC, Dr. Trowbridge is a member of the cardiology team at Providence Medford Medical Center in Oregon, where he continues to make a significant impact on patient care. He remains grateful for the advancements in medicine and cardiovascular disease management that have transformed patient outcomes over the years.
Personal Interests
Dr. Trowbridge is not only dedicated to his medical practice but also finds joy in skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and flying light aircraft. He treasures spending time with his family, sharing adventures and creating lasting memories together.
