Marnie considers this a great achievement that would not have been possible without support from SEARHC, especially the Haines clinic. “We have put this fundamental education into practice here and have made a great impact on our treatment of chronic pain. If it was not for this experience and the results of the team effort I am sure I would not have been identified as a leader and expert with this international organization,” Marnie commented after receiving the news from ISPI.

She strongly believes in the paradigm shift of medical practitioners from a largely biology base to a biopsychosocial approach.
