Ketchikan
Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World”, Ketchikan sits on the southernmost entrance to Alaska’s Inside Passage with a population of 8,208. One of the most attractive features near Ketchikan is the Misty Fiords National Monument. The 3,570-square-mile wilderness is a breathtaking collection of sea cliffs, steep fjords and rock cresting thousands of feet above the ocean’s surface.
