Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT)

SEARHC provides FDA‑approved medications for MAT:

• Buprenorphine (dissolving tablets or sublingual film)
• Methadone (daily supervised liquid dosing)

Behavioral Health Therapy & Counseling

At‑Home Medication Program

SEARHC partners with Sonara, a HIPAA‑compliant digital platform that allows eligible patients to take methadone doses at home under remote asynchronous video monitoring. Patients scan a tamper‑aware label, record self‑administration, and the care team reviews dosing to ensure safety. This approach:

Participation Criteria

To join the SEARHC OTP, individuals must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be able to attend services daily

  • Participate in counseling and case management

  • Meet criteria for moderate or severe opioid use disorder

  • On-site Treatment Services:

    SEARHC opioid treatment clinics are located in Juneau, Ketchikan, Klawock, and Sitka for individuals needing in-person treatment and care.

  • Telehealth & Virtual Dosing Support

    Patients may access:
    • Video‑based therapy sessions (when appropriate)
    • Remote medication dosing support through Sonara
    • Care coordination and navigation via telehealth
