Recognized with High Marks, SEARHC Achieves Full Accreditation Status at its Wrangell Medical Center

WRANGELL, Alaska – SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC), a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the residents and visitors of Southeast Alaska, is proud to announce that the SEARHC Wrangell Medical Center has achieved full accreditation status from DNV Healthcare USA. This significant milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.

The DNV Healthcare USA accreditation process is a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation of healthcare organizations. It involves an extensive review of clinical practices, patient care, safety protocols and overall operational procedures. This accreditation requires an annual on-site survey, interviews with staff and a thorough examination of the organization’s compliance with established healthcare standards. Achieving full accreditation signifies that the SEARHC Wrangell Medical Center meets or exceeds the stringent requirements set forth by DNV and underscores our dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to the patients we are privileged to serve.

“We are incredibly proud to receive full accreditation from DNV Healthcare USA,” said SEARHC President & Chief Executive Officer, Charles Clement. “This accomplishment is a testament to the exceptional teamwork and dedication of our entire staff. It reflects our growing partnership with DNV and our relentless pursuit of excellence in healthcare. Our commitment to delivering on our vision of partnering with our communities to promote a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit remains our top priority.”

The accreditation received at SEARHC Wrangell Medical Center validates our current practices and further motivates us to strive for excellence across the Consortium and the 27 communities in which we provide services. As we move forward, SEARHC will build upon this achievement, continuously improving and innovating to meet the evolving needs of our communities and the region.
