Heart of the Matter Challenge

Interested in adopting a heart healthy habit in 2021?

In honor of American Heart Month in February, SEARHC invites any resident of Southeast Alaska to sign up for a new 28-day health challenge that is tailored to you. Participants will choose a personal health goal such as improved nutrition, increasing physical activity, stress management, quitting tobacco, or anything that enhances your physical and emotional well-being.

Step 2:  Personal tracking tool for you – download the paper tracking form here (not for submission).
Step 3: You will receive a welcome email after registration with more information about the challenge (check your spam folder).

  • February 1-28, 2021
  • Welcome to all ages
  • Free to participate
  • Weekly raffle for prizes for all registered participants

The Health Promotion team has created a handful of sample tracking forms to guide participants during the challenge. Click any of the following links to see a sample for improving mental health, stress management, nutrition, sleep habits, and physical activity.
