Tai Chi for Diabetes Exercise Series

Free Zoom Series for People with Diabetes or Prediabetes Condition

The Tai Chi for Health Institute and SEARHC presents an eight-week Tai Chi Diabetes series. Certified and specialized instructor Kathy Washburn will guide participants through gentle physical activity and stress reduction exercises to help them stabilize blood glucose levels and manage diabetes.

Who Should Sign Up

People living with type 2 diabetes, at risk of diabetes, or diagnosed with prediabetes are encouraged to sign up. The series includes two 1-hour classes each week for eight weeks online via Zoom. No prior experience necessary. Limited spaces are available.

About the Instructor

Kathy Washburn is a longtime American Council on Exercise ACE-certified Personal Trainer with specialty certifications in senior fitness, special populations, functional movement, and corrective exercise. She was certified for teaching Tai Chi a few years ago and has loved it ever since.
