Colonoscopy Clinic
Colonoscopies are routine procedures with few risks for complications and significant benefits in detection. During the colonoscopy, a doctor utilizes a special scope to examine your colon for any abnormalities or disease, including colon cancer. In many cases, colonoscopy allows accurate diagnosis and treatment without the need for a major operation.
Specialty Care services are available to all Alaska residents and can be accessed in most SEARHC locations on a rotating schedule. If you are a patient who is interested in attending one of these clinics, please speak with your provider for a referral.
