BRIDGES Dental Study

Two dental professionals in blue gowns, masks, and gloves work on a patient lying in a dental chair.

The BRIDGES Dental Study is a partnership between SEARHC and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This innovative study aims to improve oral health for seniors in Southeast Alaska by reducing untreated tooth decay and gum disease. Better oral health means a better quality of life and overall well-being. Together, we can create brighter, healthier smiles for our elders!
