SEARHC Integrates Call Center for Angoon and Hoonah

Juneau, AK – SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is excited to announce the addition of Angoon and Hoonah to the corporate office call center located in Juneau. The purpose of the call center is to enhance the SEARHC patient experience by allowing clinical staff the time needed to provide the best healthcare for our communities. By centralizing some of the frequent patient asks such as appointment scheduling, registration, MyHealth portal set up, insurance information and directing calls – clinic staff are better able to focus on the patient when they arrive for their appointment.

SEARHC is proud of our team of 10 call center employees, with representatives who have hands-on experience from working directly in SEARHC clinic settings or backgrounds in healthcare and customer service. As the call center continues to expand, the team is expected to grow to a staff of 13. Utilizing current technology developed  by physicians and clinical teams, the call center is also able to triage our patients’ symptoms to determine their immediate need to be seen, while allowing the clinic teams to concentrate on direct patient care.

For patients looking to reach our call center, staff are available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 907.463.4040 or by calling your local clinic and selecting option 1 to speak to a call center representative.
