Education

Dr. Sanzone is board certified and a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery as well as her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. She also received a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College in Massachusetts.

Prior to SEARHC, Dr. Sanzone practiced dentistry at a pediatric dental practice in Asheville, North Carolina after completing her pediatric dental residency at University of North Carolina School of Dentistry & University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Personal Interests

Dr. Sanzone’s has a keen interest in making sure patients understand the basic health information needed to make appropriate health decisions as well as the prevention of early childhood caries which is the breakdown of the teeth due to bacteria.

Personally, she enjoys running, hiking, biking, skiing, cooking, reading, and is attempting to learn to play acoustic guitar.
