Education
Jill attended the Green River Community College, where she received her Associate of Science degree in Pre-Pharmacy and then the University of Washington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She completed her internship at the Alaska Native Health Clinic in Ketchikan, AK, and then went to work for the Public Health Service in Ketchikan. She spent time working for a community hospital and Long-term care facility in Washington before returning to Alaska to work for SEARHC. Although primarily based in Sitka, Jill also fills in for Juneau, Klawock, Haines, and Wrangell pharmacies as needed. Jill finds working with the Long-Term care residents focusing on the special pharmacotherapuetic challenges of this patient population very rewarding.
