SEARHC Wellness Fair

The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is committed to hosting a consistent Wellness Fair across the consortium to support the health of the mind, body and spirit. This event offers affordable blood tests, processed and followed up by SEARHC providers. The Wellness Fair is a family-friendly event featuring community resources and activities for all ages.

In addition to the health and community resources you’ve come to expect at these events, we will also be able to help you prepare for fall with expanded flu clinic offerings. The tradition of fostering community health and wellness continues – Let’s unite for the collective well-being of Wrangell!

Pre-registration is highly recommended. Walk-in blood tests start at 10:00 a.m.

Wellness Fair Lab Panel Information:

Lab panels cost $150 and include:

• Complete Blood Count (CBC): a blood test that measures the number and types of cells in your blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): a blood test that measures the levels of 14 different substances in your blood
• Lipids: a blood test that screens for risk of cardiovascular disease
• A1c: a blood test that measures the average amount of sugar in your blood over the past few months
• Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH): a blood test that measures the level of thyroid stimulating hormone in your blood
• Vitamin D: a blood test that measures the level of vitamin D in your blood
