SEARHC Presents Disaster Relief Donations to American Red Cross
JUNEAU, Alaska – In the wake of multiple natural disasters locally and nationally in 2023, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) continues to underscore its dedication to partnering with our communities to encourage a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit.
In the spirit of community support, leaders from the American Red Cross joined SEARHC’s Board of Directors for a check presentation ceremony at SEARHC’s Corporate Office Building in Juneau this week. The donations are allocated for fire disaster relief in Maui and flood disaster relief in Juneau.
“We are thankful to community partners like SEARHC who give back to ensure the health and safety of our communities both in Alaska and the lower 48,” said Cameron Morrison, Regional Philanthropy Officer, Red Cross of Alaska. “I am proud to accept these donations on behalf of the Red Cross.”
“SEARHC is honored to support recovery efforts both locally and with our community partners in Maui who have been disproportionately affected by natural disasters,” said Charles Clement, SEARHC President and Chief Executive Officer.
