DenaliCare Help for Families from SEARHC Outreach Team

KLAWOCK — SEARHC Outreach and Enrollment will be visiting Hydaburg, Kasaan, Craig, and Klawock on October 11-12 at the 2017 Tlingit and Haida Informational Fairs. SEARHC received a Connecting Kids to Care grant that focuses on helping families to sign up for Medicaid/DenaliCare. SEARHC Outreach staffer, Rachel Michaela Dunlap will be available to assist anyone applying for, or that needs to renew Medicaid/DenaliCare and the Tribally Sponsored Health Insurance Program.

“If you have been meaning to fill out a Medicaid application, but are overwhelmed by the application, I am available to assist you,” said Rachel Michaela Dunlap, SEARHC Outreach & Enrollment Specialist. “I can also help with yearly renewals and filing change reports.”

SEARHC Outreach will also be at the 2017 Tlingit and Haida Client Informational Fairs on POW. On October 11 they are scheduled to be in Hydaburg from 11 am -1 pm at the Boys & Girls Club and in Craig from 6-8 pm at the Craig Tribal Hall. October 12 the team will be in Kasaan from Noon-2 pm at the Totem Trail Café and in Klawock from 6-8 pm at the school library.
