JUNEAU – SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) recently announced the annual Reclaim Own and Renew (ROAR) Women’s Conference, set to take place on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2020, at Juneau’s Centennial Hall Convention Center. The conference features dynamic, female presenters who will offer life-changing techniques and tools to further launch attendees to a new level in their personal and professional lives.
The keynote speaker for the event will be author, actor, communication expert, and Founder/CEO of SpeakEtc., Robyn Hatcher. Hatcher’s “Standing Ovation Presentations” was named one of 2015’s Top 100 Coaching Books by Forbes.com, while Women’s eNews! identified Hatcher one of their “21 Leaders for the 21st Century” in 2019.
“We are extremely excited to, once again, bring this conference to the women of Juneau, Southeast, and other regions of Alaska,” said Sherry Patterson, SEARHC Executive Office Manager and ROAR Conference Chair. “We’re not only entering a new year, but a new decade, and our hopes are that the women who attend will grab hold of the tools that will be presented, enabling them to step boldly and confidently into 2020.”
In 2018, SEARHC introduced the inaugural ROAR conference. The sold-out event was headlined by keynote speaker Elizabeth Smart, abduction survivor and national child safety activist. A sell-out is anticipated in 2020 and attendees are encouraged to take advantage of early bird registration.
ROAR conference details, including registration information, can be found at searhc.org/roar. General admission tickets are priced at $89. Register by December 20 to receive an early bird rate of $69 per ticket.
