JUNEAU, ALASKA – In a proactive effort to address the growing demand for mental and behavioral health services in the region, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) welcomes Jean Claude Jubert, DO to its Juneau Behavioral Health Clinic. Dr. Jubert joined the SEARHC team on July 12 and is seeing patients ages 12 and older for emotional and mental health treatment and medication management.
Dr. Jubert earned his medical degree from the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina. He completed a psychiatry residency through Louisiana State University at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Louisiana. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Jubert served as an officer in the Louisiana Army National Guard and was deployed to Haiti.
Dr. Jubert is an advocate for mental health care services and is passionate about preventative psychiatric care. His professional interests also include helping patients address addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder and military-related mental health issues.
Outside of work, Dr. Jubert enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two daughters. He is fond of hiking, fishing, boxing, playing music and cooking – especially with smoked salmon.
Dr. Jubert, as well as other Juneau Behavioral Health Clinic psychiatrists and specialists, provides a broad range of Behavioral Health services for adolescents and adults.
