Education and Experience
Sara earned her Bachelor of Science at the University Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She worked at Exempla Medical Center in Denver, CO for 10 years. Sara has worked in Sitka for over 13 years, first at Sitka Community Hospital and eventually at SEARHC.
After arriving at SEARHC Sara said, “I love working in a small community with such a culturally rich heritage.”
Personal Interests
Her professional interests include Geriatrics, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Wound Care and Aquatic Therapy. When she is not working, Sara enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, gardening and kayaking.
