Education and Experience
Patricia Siza, MD, attended medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Alaska Family Medicine Residency. After residency, she worked as a locum tenens provider for a few months in Valdez, Alaska. She was hired as a hospitalist at Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center in Sitka, where her shifts vary from ED provider of the day and hospitalist. At night, she is the OB provider for pregnant woman who need triage services or are in labor.
Dr. Siza is board certified in Family Medicine and maintains certifications for BLS, ACLS, ATLS, AWLS, PALS, NRP, and ALSO.
She enjoys talking with elders about their life experiences, delivering babies, and the various job-related procedures like placing central lines and paracentesis.
Personal Interests
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, traveling, racquetball, hiking and fishing.
