Education and Experience
Dr. Dimitrov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and grew up in Texas and Michigan. Myra attended medical school at Michigan State University and completed her family medicine residency in Spokane, WA. After residency, she worked in Wasilla and Palmer outpatient family medicine clinics. She also worked for one year in Kaitaia, New Zealand in a GP clinic.
Dr. Dimitrov cares for patients of all ages and is passionate about women’s health and pediatrics. Dr. Dimitrov believes in a holistic approach to health by taking care of the whole person in the context of their family and community. She was inspired to move to Alaska by her love of the mountains and outdoors as well as the opportunity to practice full-spectrum family medicine.
