Kyleen Luhrs, MD
Education and Experience
Dr. Luhrs attended the University of Denver and studied biology and psychology, then entered the University of Washington for medical school as part of the Alaska WWAMI program. Luhrs went on to complete her family medicine residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Klamath Falls. She received additional training in obstetrics and women’s health, addiction treatment, and integrative medicine.
Developing relationships and helping people work towards their goals for health and wellness are the aspects of Dr. Luhrs’ work that she considers the most rewarding.
When not working, Dr. Luhrs can be found in the garden, or taking advantage of the outdoors – hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and skiing. Luhrs grew up in Ketchikan and is excited to return to Southeast Alaska.
