Education and Experience

Keri McEntee, Occupational Therapist at Sitka Home Health Clinic, grew up in upstate New York. She received a Bachelor’s in Psychology at the College of Saint Rose in Albany and her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Sage in Troy. After graduating with her masters and passing her boards, she took a job at the Denali Center in Fairbanks, AK, initially working at the skilled nursing facility/short-term rehab for two years where she trained in the inpatient setting. She later transferred to the outpatient clinic where she worked for four plus years.

She has extensive education and experience related to hand/UE injuries and recovery, neuromuscular recovery, and fall prevention. She is interested in obtaining certifications in Lifestyle Redesign and Big and Loud, a treatment strategy for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. She enjoys learning and finding opportunities to improve patient care, developing relationships with patients and empowering them to develop skills.

Personal Interests

Outside of work she enjoys running, lifting weights, biking, hiking, and going on long walks, reading, listening to music and baking.
