Education and Experience
Kari earned a Bachelor of Science-Education from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis/St. Paul and graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine. Soon after, she joined SEARHC as a CHAP Educator and Clinical Supervisor of the Angoon Health Center. In her 20+ years with SEARHC, Ms. Lundgren held the positions of CHA Program Director, Assistant Medical Director-CHS, and Mount Edgecumbe HS Student Health Center manager/clinician.
Additionally, after 2000+ hours of direct psychiatric patient care, she earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry from the NCCPA and is on staff with the SEARHC Behavioral Health psychiatric prescribers group.
Kari enjoys renovating float planes and flying with her husband, gardening, knitting and is very involved with Sitka’s diverse musical community.
