Education and Experience
Kaela Hoyt graduated from Wichita State University in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She also received her associate of applied science degree in dental health therapy from Ilisagvik College in 2021. Kaela was previously a dental assistant at a private practice office in Juneau for the past five years.
When asked what is the most rewarding aspect of her work, Kayla says “I love being able to see the kids’ smiles when they come into the dental clinic and knowing I am making a positive impact on their oral health!”

When Kaela’s not working you can find her spending time with her family and during the summer months she tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors.
