Education and Experience
Erin Heard, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and served as an active-duty Coast Guard member from 2007 until 2016. Following her career in the U.S. Coast Guard, Erin earned her Doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana in 2021 and joined the SEARHC Physical Rehabilitation team shortly thereafter.
Erin enjoys the variety of cases at SEARHC from post-op to neurological injuries, and particularly enjoys working with high school athletes, pregnant and postpartum women, as well as general orthopedic injuries. Erin feels that the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping people get back to activities they enjoy and helping patients learn how their bodies work.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Erin enjoys hiking, biking and spending time with family.
