Education and Experience

Dr. Bos received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and completed her medical school prerequisites at the University of Alaska in Anchorage.

She comes to SEARHC from here residency at Alaska Family Medicine in Anchorage.

Outside of her regular academic and medical career, Dr. Bos has been heavily involved in improving the lives of others within her community and in other parts of the world.

In Kansas City, she worked with Score One For Health, a community outreach program providing comprehensive health screenings to low income elementary school children.

Dr. Bos spent time in Sacaya, Peru with Expand Peru as an English and art teacher. There she developed task-oriented games and activities appropriate for daily learning objectives.

As a ski/snowboard instructor for Challenge Alaska, she utilized adaptive equipment to assist individuals with disabilities in downhill skiing and snowboarding.

Dr. Bos also spent time as an English composition teacher at the Malawi Children’s Village in Malawi, Africa.

Dr. Bos’ awards and honors include Summa Cum Laude, Kansas City University of Medicine, and Biosciences; American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement; Family Health Foundation Award; Paul McCord, D.O. Humanitarian Scholarship; National Health Service Corp Scholarship.

Personal Interests

Dr. Bos’ medical interests include Osteopathic manipulative medicine, geriatrics, and women’s health.

Her personal interests are spending time with her family, being in the outdoors, and going to the movies.
